I am an open minded person who loves good discussions; especially about politics, cultural exchanges, languages, history and things that expand my horizon but I also love having fun and enjoying life with people I like!!

I am mostly relaxed but I am an extroverted person, people tell me I always talk loudly :D

To explore my Jewish heritage I came to Israel for the first time when I was 19 and after my half-year stay there I started to feel amazing here.
Born in Germany, I never felt "home" there or anywhere else until I came to Israel.

Since then I have come to Israel every year at least once and even lived here from Summer 2016 until Summer 2017...

Politically I define myself as a (left-wing) Zionist and Democrat, and as a moderate Socialist and a Humanist because I believe in a progressive society. Combined I strongly believe in the Jewish principle of "Tikkun Olam".
I stand near the movement for Reform Judaism and I also love the idea of the European Union, because of the supranational approach - however I do not agree with many EU policies.

I oppose racism, intolerance toward the tolerant, social injustice etc.
For me it is essential that there is equality among us humans; I am a full supporter of human rights such as female rights or LGBT equality (though not being gay myself)

Well what else could I write;
I am 180 cm in size, have blue eyes, brown hair and I am always open up for a good movie and a great party, especially in TEL AVIV ! :)))
Mostly I love to to the things I do, together with others!

PHILOSOPHY

I always need to expand my knowledge. As any human I am searching for something that i can achieve in my life. I am searching for a greater sense, that is why I am strongly connected to the Jewish ethical principles, my common sense and intuition.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a very tiny apartment in Israel which I shared with my ex partner. So there was no chance to host someone. My new place only has one bed and a small couch that doesn't allow for sleeping. I will help however I can though, if you have an air mattress I can offer you a warm place to stay.

Well I tried couchsurfing when I went to Israel back in 2011.
Was really fun, had a great experience there!

German is my native language and I can teach interested people some words in this language or even help to translate stuff into German, although I know most people don't like the language, haha!
I am also quite an expert in English, because I got used talking English very often.
Even though I have French roots, my parents decided NOT to raise me bilingual and so I learned French only in school and well... I never used to talk French so well... bad luck :D
Hebrew... tried to learn it by myself, not that easy.
