ABOUT ME

My mother is American, my father is French/Tunisian and I grew up in Israel. I'm still working on my personal philosophy, but do have goals and aspirations. I am going to start studying this upcoming October to become a teacher. I love to travel, seeing new places and meeting new people. I love hosting people, be they couch surfers or close friends. I'm planning my first solo trip now to Europe and to the States where I will meet up with my mom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My mom joined couchsurfing a few years ago and we've been hosting and traveling via CS ever since. Living in Jerusalem we have had many CSers coming through from many countries. Our first surfing experiences in England and Ireland were incredible. Having experienced that, when given the chance I prefer couchsurfing to any other way of traveling. I look forward surfing in the near future, and hosting myself when the couch is mine, and not my mom's.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed up well into the night talking to couchsurfers talking about their travels and the amazing things they did. I've had the pleasure of having my travel plans completely turned on their head by recommendations of hosts, and having the trip been made all the richer and more interesting for it. I've experienced different personalities and cultures while never having to leave my home, and have made some lasting friendships via couchsurfing.

Interests

Reading, fantasy novels, manga, cartoons, hanging out with friends and having fun. Sometimes in conventional ways, sometimes not.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love horror movies, fantasy, action and drama. The only type of movie I don't usually like are so called "chick flicks."
My reading tastes go the same way - and I am working my way through Song of Ice and Fire and enjoying the show as well (though not as much as the books). I love the Disc World series as well.
I used to love CSI, but recently find it redundnat. I still love Law & Order, Game of Thrones, Modern Family and Weeds when it was running. I'm looking forward to American Horror Story coming back as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After watching many poetry slam sessions and falling in love with the art, I was recently asked to judge at a poetry slam and had a brilliant time.

I also recently learned how to breath fire at the Israeli Juggling Convention. That was very cool. How many people can say that they know how to, and have video proof of, fire breathing :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting people that are willing and happy to share their views and ideas with me, without them trying to force them upon me. I am happy to do the same. I enjoy discussing all kinds of subjects and will not shy away from a healthy debate as long as we can always agree to agree to disagree. I am curious about many things, and am happy to explain and share about things that I know about.
