ABOUT ME

We are two friends 27 and 30 years old. Avil and Tom, we're from Metz and we are roomies !

Avil is a student in cinematography at the local University and Tom is the manager of a clothing store!

Before being roomies, we are friends who like to meet other people.We are constantly meeting our friends on week days and on WE we like to go out and have drinks. We know how to be serious but we know better how to party :)

People often tell us that we are simple and fun to be around. We try to be respectful of others because we would like others to respect us too.

We love to visit places but unfortunately neither of us have travelled a lot. We are currently trying to change that!

Anyway, that's pretty much everything, cheers!

Tom likes french comedy, musicals and animated movies (Disney, Miyazaki)and historical documentaries.

Avil likes a lot of directors, Tarantino being his favorite director. He watches a lot of us series too ( Breaking bad, American horror story etc)

We listen to various types of music, as long as it gets us dancing ;)

Avil likes authors like Stephen King, Salman Rushdie and Haruki Murakami etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Racing to the top of the Eiffel tower (all 1665 steps) because of a truth and dare game (Tom won!)

We took pauses to be honest.

Teach, Learn, Share

Tom knows french cuisine and most particularly regional cuisine ( Quiche lorraine, Choucroute ) and pastries ( petits choux à la crème, pies and most chocolate-related recipes)

Avil knows Mauritian, Indian and Asian cuisine ( spicy stuffs, like REALLY spicy)...

We like to cook for others!

Tom can share his french culture with you and Avil his mauritian culture (Mauritius Island is a tiny island in the indian ocean!)

We want to learn everything you can teach us about your respective countries. Literally everything, we are greedy in that way, we simply love to learn about different cultures.
