Overview
About Me
I am currently living in Nepal. I consider myself a simple person who is always ready to help others. Many people who meet me often say they feel like I am part of their family. I am kind-hearted and strive to treat everyone with respect—caring for those younger than me and respecting those older.
Helping others is something I deeply value. Whenever someone asks me for help or advice, I never hesitate. My goal is to be a good and honest person, without enemies, and I wish to maintain positive relationships with everyone around me.
I have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and stay in touch with friends through various social networks.
Some people find my name a bit confusing. I go by "Avinash Dangal" here, but my official name is "Shree Ram," which means a Hindu deity. Since many of my friends from outside of Nepal find it difficult to pronounce, I prefer being called "Avinash" or simply "Avi." However, anyone who wishes to call me by my real name is welcome to do so.
I had the opportunity to meet a German friend involved in a project called Couchnomade. He interviewed me, and I contributed to his project by sharing my thoughts and experiences. You can watch the interview here: Link. This video provides insight into who I am, even if we haven’t met in person. ☺

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A few years ago, I stayed with my cousin, who introduced me to Couchsurfing by hosting guests and making great friends. Inspired by his experience, I created my own Couchsurfing account to connect with people, share my culture, and make new friends. I believe Couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet new people, exchange cultures, and offer help and advice about my home.
Interests
I have a wide range of interests and strive to pursue what excites me each day. As a student, I enjoy reading books and love watching movies with friends. I am also eager to meet new people from different countries, religions, and cultures. From these interactions, I hope to learn about their experiences while sharing my own.
My interests include swimming, rafting, jungle safaris, mountain hiking, and traveling. I enjoy playing football, badminton, and table tennis. Staying active is important to me, so I regularly practice yoga, go to the gym, and visit fitness clubs. Additionally, I love giving and receiving massages. I'm also a fan of computer games like FIFA and PES.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to old Nepali music and have a deep appreciation for folk music from Nepal. I also like Hindi and English songs, with my favorite Nepali song being "Reshem Felilli."
When it comes to movies, I watch a mix of Nepali, Hindi, and English films. Some of my favorite English movies include "Friends with Benefits," "Men in Black," "Air Force One," "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel," and "The Legend of Tarzan."
As for reading, I love novels and stories, particularly Nepali literature. My favorite novels include "Sumnima," "Pallo Ghar Ko Ghayal," and the story "Jhola."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have hyper-flexible abilities, allowing me to place both legs on my neck and head—something most people can’t do. You can check out a photo of this incredible flexibility on my profile!
Teach, Learn, Share
Nothing is impossible.
If you want self-respect, start by respecting others.
Education is not just about learning facts; it’s about training your mind to think critically.
