I have soccer in my veins, played at club level and in competitive leagues wherever I've lived. I'm pretty damn good on the pitch haha.

I love travelling because seeing beauty in other countries and other cultures fascinates me. Different people, it's so fascinating. 2015 was my best travelling year yet, which included 22 cities (at last count).

I prefer exploring a city by foot, going for the landmarks that tourists don't usually go to see.

I play a Fender Electric guitar, which is too precious to take with me on vacations!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my best sleeps are on couches haha.
It's the best way to get to know locals in the regions and keeps things economical so you can spend on other activities. Hanging out with surfers is always great fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had dinner with a few legends (former players) of Manchester United Football Club in the UK. And met many more players along the way.
I recently watched Blink 182 live, from the very front row and center.
Frenchmen Street in New Orleans with 7 or 8 couch surfers was an amazing experience, will never forget that.

Traveled to many places, so many stories to share. Lived in South Africa, the UK, NYC now Philly. Economics, finance and business is my game. I'm probably better as a soccer pundit though.
