ABOUT ME

Hiya! I'm Avi, a native Tel Avivian, now living in Florentin (probabely Tel Aviv's most colorful neighbourhood). I'm a doctor, but make sure your visit includes as little injuries as possible :) I love cooking so living right next to the market is an awesome bonus, and if you like food then Florentin is definitely the place to be. There's tons of street food, typical restaurants, and fancy ones as well. I'd be happy to send you off with recommendations, but if I've got the time, I would gladly cook for you (unless it's breakfast, since I've got some issues with waking up on time). I love antiques, and I reckon some of you youngsters would find my taste in music ancient, but what can you do - a vinyl record sounds so much better than a cd. I love meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. my best experiences from traveling were always with local, generous people who've let me in their lives even for a little while, and this is the experience I hope to give to my fellow couch surfers!
I'm currently traveling with Batel, my girlfriend. Batel is a 27 years old psychiatric nurse, qualifying her for keeping me balanced and happy ((: She's a cheerful, easy going and fun loving girl, natively Jerusalemite, who is enthusiastic like me about food, travelling and making friends with new people of different countries. She also dances like a pro, and would love partying as much as her legs let her!
