About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn what the world is really made of!!
ABOUT ME
I'm currently a graduate student in NY, studying infectious disease! I have a lot of interests (see below), so I like exploring new things, and will always be willing to try something new!
PHILOSOPHY
Since I spend most of my time with my nose in a text-book, or in a lab, I've come to realize that it is crucial for people (even geeky scientists) to explore all aspects of life. Science is beautiful, but so is art, theater, and even our fellow man. There is so much to see in this world, that it is worth making the extra effort to push oneself out of his box, even at the expense of one less experiment.

Teach, Learn, Share
Thanks to my radio show, I do have some decent exposure to some very interesting music that most people don't get exposed to. Hiphop from Senegal? Folk duos from Madagascar? Folk-rock with Tuvan throat singing? I'm your guy!
I love to learn about different cultures, from dance (I do a lot of contra - an American folk dance, and Blues) to music, books and art! Please share!
