One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Rio de Janeiro I was lucky enough to see an amazing thing.
Every evening, just before the sun goes down, hundreds of people gather around on the rocks in ipanema beach. Everyone seats on the rocks, and look at the sun getting closer to the sea. Only when the sun touches the water, that's when all the thousands of people on the beach start clapping their hand and whoooing for the sun, thanking her for another great day.
