About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning in different ways while trying to have fun, do rewarding work, and live responsibly

ABOUT ME

I'm an engineering student from Canada who loves the outdoors and is trying to learn Spanish. I'm up for exploring cities or nature, be it sightseeing, art, music, food, or sports!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to be busy all the time and always try to learn openly through people, reading, working, travelling, and participating in events. I try to live a healthy, active, and environmentally conscious lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm up for showing people around Madrid, exploring the city, and meeting in other cities near Madrid. I haven't couchsurfed yet, but I may start when I get a chance to travel more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have seen Madrid and it's surroundings with some lovely groups of people who are now my good friends y con ellos he mejorado mi español un monton! I've had drinks and interesting conversations with CSers in Grenoble, Milan

Music, Movies, and Books

As for books, I go for historic novels (including graphic novels), books with dry clever humour, and children's books in Spanish :P
As for movies, I like historical drama, clever humour, action and documentaries. I am also an addict of Canadian public radio programming (CBC)
As for music, I don't discriminate genres as long as it's skilful, catchy, good lyrics, soulful, and/or live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the Rocky Mountains

what comes to mind...I consider myself knowledgeable in Spanish cuisine, Asian cuisine, vegetarian food, language exchange, nanotechnology and climate change science.
