Music, Movies, and Books
My tastes are fickle and changeable. I love going to classical concerts, prefer ballet to opera. Dance to D&B and dancehall. Listen to ella fitzgerald, morcheeba, faithless, arctic monkeys, the streets. I'm not addicted to music. I listen to bbc radio 1 and 4.
Books I like most things. recently read Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and an icelandic saga.
Film - I am definitely not a film buff and love using the cinema as escapism. But I do appreciate "The sting" and other cleverly plotted movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visited the Omalo plateau on Crete. Its not in any guide book, and its up a remote track past beehives on a steep hillside. You have no idea its there until you reach the top of the ridge, when it suddenly appears. An amazing, huge and totally flat plateau, nestled in right in the high hills around. It was the place where my grandfather arranged his supply drops when he was a spy working with the resistance in WWII.
