About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning to love life in Belgium

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the mountains of Colorado and spent six years in the waves of San Diego and now I'm a recent transplant to the flat lands of Belgium. Learning french, finding new hobbies and enjoying the chance to travel.

I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. Particularly people who want to go on adventures, eat delicious things, tell me funny stories or just generally enjoy life together.

I'm pretty mellow with a good sense of humor and I love eating good food, talking about philosophy and the outdoors.

I also really like biking, surfing, rock climbing, hiking and music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could talk about books and music for hours but I have a soft spot for books with great characters and a bit of philosophy and music played on guitars. A few that come to mind are:

Books: East of Eden, Old man and the Sea, Atlas Shrugged, Life of Pi, No country for old men, A brave New World, The Unbearble Lightness of Being....

Music: Alt-J, Bright Eyes, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Weeknd, the Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, Beach House, Elliot Smith

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 years ago I hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon for a friends birthday. I think it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my whole life and undoubtable the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Last year, I quit my job and spent the last 9 months traveling through, 7 states, 11 countries and met a ton of great people and then transplanted myself in a whole new country with a whole new language that I don't speak.

Looking forward to the adventures 2013 has to offer.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Laos, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, France, United States
