ABOUT ME

I grew up in Los Angeles County, California and went to school out there until the age of 21. I have always played sports, from Hockey and Basketball to Break Dancing which I'm still keeping up with.

I became interested in music 5 years ago in LA, and moved to Humboldt County, California to study percussion. There I met the love of my life through Samba drumming and we are now playing music together in San Francisco.

I am a very laid back guy, I love to love and enjoy life, but I do not tolerate raciscm, sexism or homophobia.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life to be happy and follow my gut to my next step in life. I live to grow and be productive every day and progress at what I am trying to become an expert in. I also live to bring joy to my loved ones.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet Couch Surfers from other countries and exchange cultures along with having unbiased opinions about certain regions of the world. Unfortunately I do not have my own place right now so I can not host, but I want to couch surf and am available to meet up for a drink or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences so far have been surfing 2 different peoples couches in Guatemala, which were very fun and hospitable situations. I have also been at helped host people and my girl friends house and met up to have drinks.

I love drumming, piano, dancing (breakdancing locking, salsa), travel, cooking, teaching, and listening to live and recorded music. My music choices vary from Hip Hop(old School, early 90's, underground) to Jazz, Funk, Soul, Reggae, and international folk and fusion music such as Afro Cuban and Armenian to say the least.

I love music!!! Cant stress that enough, I am a musician, I love Joe Bataan, Art Blakey, John Coltrane,
The Pharcyde, A lighter Shade of Brown, Aretha Franklin, Tigran Hamasyan, Ornette Coleman, Mission (Crown City Rockers), Harout Gevorkyan, Freestyle Fellowship, Project Blowed, Anticon, Tito Puente, Puro Bandido, Willie Colon, and the list goes on forever. A few books I like are The Pearl, The Outsiders, The Four Agreements, Graffiti L.A. and a Wrinkle In Time.
