Overview
About Me
I'm an English teacher based in Madrid, Spain for a second year and loving it! I have lived in California for most of my life, and eventually want to return to the states to pursue a master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
I'm pretty easygoing and laidback, and while I can be shy at times, I'm very open to meeting new people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like traveling on the "unbeaten path" and I feel like couchsurfing is one of the ways to do that because it exposes us to the people who are actually a part of the country's culture. I also just want to meet some cool people all over the world. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lala Land, 500 Days of Summer
Books: Harry Potter series (particulary #3), Jane Eyre (blame the English nerd in me), Ready Player, One, The Kite Runner, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Martian, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck
Music: AlunaGeorge, Marian Hill, Disclosure, Odesza, Childish Gambino, Kanye, The 1975, most things in my Spotify Discover Weekly playlist, and unashamedly some top 40 stuff (it's popular for a reason, right? don't judge!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Making the move to live and teach in a different country - and Europe at that! I always thought this would be a distant dream that I would never pursue because home was so familiar and comforting, but I'm so happy I broke out of my shell and created this happiness for myself. It's changed me in more ways than one.
What I Can Share with Hosts
