ABOUT ME

Hi! i am a graduate student who is just about to start my term at Kingston University. I have also attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Amherst College in Massachusetts, and Ozarks Technical Community college; and Missouri State University so i guess you can say i've hopped around a bit. Needless to say, I love to travel. My mom is from Mexico and my dad, from the states, a childhood trip to my Tio's wedding in Mexico when I was two years old has stayed a magical memory that has inspired me to keep exploring. Though my family has worked hard travel wasn't possible for a long time. In high school the opportunity arose for me to tour Costa Rica with my high school culture club. This first experience of traveling a little more on my own was tough and tiresome but in the end i couldn't get enough. I loved seeing the rainforest by zipline, by foot or on a jaunty tour bus. Next i was able to go to Chicago for art school one summer. the independence was exhilarating and i was addicted to the city life of short walks and quick public transportation. Europe was next, another school tour whirlwinded us through Paris, Nice, Eze, Monaco, Pisa, the Vatican, Florence and Rome; an intense experience that would take a day or two to describe. After that i traveled mostly around the U.S. for college visits. I found that some places will fly you to their campus if you apply to do so!!! I became a TA during the summers of 2007, 2008, and 2009 for Taiwan's #2 university NTHU as a part of a unique missions opportunity. I had a blast and was inspired in my life and in my designs. I completed a summer term in London in 2010 and am returning to complete my Graduate Degree in the UK.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that life is kind of short so there are two very important things to experience to the fullest our relationships with people and taking in all of the places in the world. I am always trying my best to be a more friendly and outgoing person and a little bit more selfless each time too so that i can get to know and befriend more of the lovely souls on this earth. and as for this earth, it's such a wonderful creation that to experience more and more of it i think i will fall more and more in love with it too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all kinds of movies but my favorites are action, thriller, foreign films, documentaries, and independently made films. I like a wide variety of music but my current favorites are in the electronic spectrum including: chill, dubstep, trip hop, and lounge. I read quite a bit and currently treat fashion magazines as career research :)
