About Me
ABOUT ME
I am young, yearning and hopeful, excited to learn. I laugh easily, spend my time with my friends, and seem to only be able to wear clothes that are comfortable. I have a tendency toward nostalgia, sweet iced-tea and talks over walks.
My friends and I enjoy good dancing and good moshpits. I like work with my hands, and mud. Travel is important to me because it poses challenges to how I think and behave, but the life experiences that result are priceless. I am really interested in understanding more about how language shapes our conceptions of reality, and the relationships people and communities form with the places in which they live.
PHILOSOPHY
"What you value, you risk."-Jeanette Winterson
"Without wilderness there can be neither reverence nor revelation."
Hey, we're all wanderin' and seeking some peace. It seems that essentially, we all break the same, so let's go together.

My parents did a wonderful and courageous thing moving my family to Nepal when I was nine. My travels between there and here have been some of the most valuable experiences I have had.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share:
intermediate french,
experiences from travels,
passion for advocacy and understanding social dynamics/justice,
a desire to do spontaneous, community art,
my voice (singing).
I also like to do dishes when I'm stressed out :).
I am excited to learn about everything, but particularly:
the things individuals come to value from their experiences; arts and trades.
