About Me

Hay :)
I am Luca and I hope u read this because you think about to host me.
So in that way, let me introduce myself a little.

I was born in Switzerland on Lake Constance, but moved to Germany when I was 12. Until today, I can call both countries my home. Through this and the travels I had already made so far. I dare to say that I am very open to other people, languages, activities or simply cultures. I love to give people a leap of faith because I think that's a great way to build up a good and honest relationship.
I am around people a lot and have built a very loyal circle of friends over decades. However, I also love to meet new people. Especially when traveling, I find it fascinating to hear all kinds of stories from people all over the world. Growing up on a horse farm and training as a landscaper, I always need a retreat to the countryside. However, I have been studying in Munich for a few years and have learned to love the impulsive city life there.

I am actually always polite and usually avoid confrontations. Additionally, while traveling I try to maintain a certain structure, which consists of work and sports. Mainly, I go jogging for a longer time and then sit down with my laptop in a café. In the afternoon, I take time to explore the city or cook one of my recipes for my hosts. I love to try out the local specialties and dishes, but also like to spread recipes from home.

When I am hosted by someone, I am always very grateful, respect privacy and strive to be as pleasant a guest as possible. I don't have so much experience with this in Couchsurfing, but outside of it.

I am looking forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to be around the local people at the places where I stay. I have always made great experiences doing so. To meet locals is the best way to explore the place or even the whole culture. Specially when it comes to the food, it is possible to get it in the most authentic way.
I normally use Workaway to be with local People, but temporally I have some work to do by myself and I will also just stay some days at every location, so Couchsurfing seems the best option to me.

All genres but mostly Hip Hop, Metal, Drum and Bass and as a German of course Techno.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the experiences with animals are always very enriching, whether they are wild sightings or the relationships with your own animals. But also really cool encounters in places where you did not expect it, I often have to think back

Teach, Learn, Share

As a German native speaker, I can of course teach German. I also always like to share cooking experience and try to learn as much as possible about the local cuisine. When it comes to sport, I am interested in nearly everything. I think i have some nice skills when it comes to horse-riding, skiing, football or volleyball.
But of course do to my apprenticeship and studies i always like to share and extend my knowledge about ecology, botanic, architecture and art.

What I Can Share with Hosts
