About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a well traveled and open-minded guy in my late 20s. I work in public health in Atlanta, GA.
PHILOSOPHY
I've got a "life is short..." attitude and I'm passionate about trying everything twice (if you don't like it the first time, it may have been a fluke!)
I also think its completely pointless to visit a place without learning anything. Therefore, I try absorbing all I can about the history, culture, politics, arts, and food/drinks of a new place.
I have a personal rule where if I'm in a market in a new place, I must eat three things I've never seen or heard of before. I believe that food is the most genuine introduction to a culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Ive slept in some pretty compromising environments around Africa (including having being chased from my tent by elephants in Botswana), so I'm not picky with sleeping conditions - though it'd be nice to not have to share a bed.
I've had nothing but amazing surfing experiences so far :) - though I admittedly haven't done it as much as I should, I'm certainly trying to change that!
Interests
Walking around cities, street food, craft beer, sports, camping, movies, live music, the environment, etc.

I've got a wealth of travel stories that I'd love nothing more to share with you over a couple drinks :)
