I've met super cool people through couchsurfing. I've both hosted and surfed.

I am particularly interested in making more friends who live in New York. If you are moving to the city and looking for a place to stay while you apartment hunt, as well as to make new friends in the area, please step to the front of the line!

In general: I ALSO love meeting travellers and are happy to just help people out. Because I am in Manhattan, you must please understand that I get HUNDREDS of requests, no, I can't give my for-rent rooms away for a week, and no, I can't book them to you months ahead of time.

My one "if you've actually read my profile" thing... I can only accept same night requests for one night. Requests for multiple nights or more than 24 hours in advance will be declined. I will give you the guest bedroom if it is not booked, and if it is booked, you can have a fold-out futon mat on the living room floor.
