CURRENT MISSION

Current mission is to meet as many groovy, intelligent, enlightening, people as I can. To not be an ordinary person. To have my mind opened up to what other people and other countries have to teach me!

ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old woman. Proud to be a woman. I love running and hiking. The best thing is getting together with friends and eating great food (local cuisine, and VEGETABLES) while sipping on delicious drinks. I'm excited to be out in the world and I want nothing more then to meet people who can broaden my world view.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined couchsurfing. I plan on surfing for a while in Thailand but when I come back to South Korea I will open up my apartment to surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience yet but I'm looking forward to having memorable stories in the future.

Working on my Spanish speaking abilities. Reading anything and everything... Woohoo for Harry Potter! I have been running my entire life, I ran Cross Country for my college and I plan on running for the rest of my life.

Currently I'm reading, Women that Run with the Wolves. My favorite book is, The Poisonwood Bible. Favorite band of all time is Led Zeppelin but I like all music besides country. Mumford and Sons, Iron and Wine, Matt and Kim, and Massive Attack are just some of the bands I like..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was backpacking through Costa Rica and I was outside the city of Puerto Viejo... It had been raining and I hadn't showered in a week (dreadlocks were starting to form in my hair)and I was trudging through mud puddles, tired and alone. Then I looked up, saw the sun setting and smoke rising in the air from a variety of different restaurants. That is the moment I felt most alive. Nothing too amazing but I will remember it for the rest of my life.

I know a lot about the body and how it moves- having been a runner for most of my life I have read, gone to, and listened to many experts on the body.
I know quite a bit about nutrition. My grandmother and mother are big on organic gardens and my father is a farmer in California.. needless to say I have some knowledge on those topics.
Politics and History- studied in school and I would like to think some of the good information stuck with me.
