About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel, See the things I've read about and dreamed about all my life. Experience life as people in other countries do!
ABOUT ME
Most of my friends would say I am a gamer for life. I like all kinds of games. Tabletop games, board games, video games and most sports. They also would say I am friendly, chatty and that I have a great sense of humour and an overactive imagination.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a very laid back person but I enjoy being active. I like to ask questions. I especially like to ask questions that there are no answers to. I love to learn. I have a tendency to play the "Devil's Advocate" which can frustrate those who love me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After having couch surfed with great success in Italy I am hoping to host some interesting people and make some new friends over the summer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My wife and I had our first experiences with Couch Surfing in the spring of 2012. We have hosted, surfed and also gone to a CouchSurfing meet up event in Rome. We have enjoyed making many new friends with CouchSurfing.
Interests
I spend of a lot of my time playing. I play sports (hockey, soccer, football) and I play games (video games, card games, board games.) I am passionate about history. I am into photography and I am usually behind the camera, not in front of it. I love fishing and I am also learning to love cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am into science fiction and fantasy novels. One of my favourite all time books is Ender's Game. I also enjoy R.A. Salvatore's novels and anything by Terry Pratchett. I am, however, a voracious reader and will read practically anything I can get my hands on, regardless of genre. One of my favourite movies is The Usual Suspects.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) My first glimpse of Bourbon St. in New Orleans on a Sunday morning, perhaps one of the most disgusting moments of my life was watching them hose down the street. It certainly left me awestruck, but not in a good way!
2) Coming out of the underground into Trafalgar Square in London, England, alone with my backpack, and completely lost.
3) The view from the top of the Duomo in Florence.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a little about a lot of things, and a lot about a few things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a talented conversationalist and I have a wonderful sense of humour.
