HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to host surfers and I appreciate being hosted. who knows where I'll need a place to crash at any given time and I look at hosting the same way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed once but I have now hosted a bunch of times. Each time reinforces the notion that we should continue hosting. People are awesome.

i hiked the appalachian trail from georgia to vermont in 2012, so i'd say that qualifies me as having solid long-distance backpacking knowledge
