Overview
About Me
Axel, 24 years old. I have just finished my studies and obtained my Master’s degree. I am going to travel to Chili for one year from February 2016.
I grew up near Bordeaux, famous for its wine reputation. During my studies, I lived in different towns in France (Bordeaux, Lyon, Paris) and abroad (Linkoping, Dublin). I use to travel and I like meeting people and learning about cultures
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some friends recommended me to use this way to meet open-minded people and to have real life experience which are exactly my travel expectations.
I am a new surfer!
Interests
I am fond of music from all genres and all periods, without giving you an exhaustive list, I like: Rock, Reggae, Dub, Ska, Electronic music (House, Techno, Minimal), Rap & Hip Hop, and of course World music (Bossa nova, African’s one).
I practiced Hockey for 8 years when I was younger, generally I like practicing or watching team sport as football, rugby, basketball or volley. Without being passions, I am interested by photography, cultural projects and emergent cultures (about painting, dancing or music)

Music, Movies, and Books
Like I said before I am fond of music from all genres. I am not comfortable with the idea to rank it; it depends on my mood and the context. But to take the first step to you, some tracks randomly pick up from my playlist:
"Air France" - Joris Delacroix
Aurelio Martinez - Ineweyu
The Pretenders – Precious
J-Live – Satisfied
US3 – Cantaloop
About movies, I am not really a cinema lover and I avoid the blockbusters. Among movies that I prefer: Fight Club, Usual Suspect, The Island. It is the same thing for series, I didn’t watch a lot but I liked Breaking Bad, Hannibal or True detective.
I haven’t the habit to read books; Actually, I read essentially news about economics, geopolitics or simply current affairs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Erasmus is definitively one of the best experiences that I lived. I was at Linkoping in Sweden and it was the opportunity to live in an international environment and to meet people from all around the world: amazing experience. If you hadn’t the luck to do it, go back to one's schooldays just for that :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach French or practice English with you. I would like to improve my Spanish. I expect to share some travel and life experiences that you did or I, and simply exchange about our cultures and life styles.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My good mood and some funny stories about French people. Cook and share a good meal, in addition I know how to cook some sweet French deserts !
