Hey! I am Axel, 23 years old, I was born in the US but raised in Mexico. I currently work full-time in the military and am a part-time student.
I enjoy simple things such as listening to music, going for a walk, talking to people, and really understanding a bit more of life from others' perspectives. I come from a poor family and I am proud to say it, I do appreciate the little things and the beautiful simplicity of life.

In my free time, I like to work out, learn languages, and take photos. I enjoy talking to new people, and my short goal is to travel as much as possible, connect with different communities, and be able to finish my higher education.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am thrilled to discover what we called the world, but in fact, the people are the world. I am a really simple guy, who enjoys talking to people and listening to adventures and life experiences.
I have been taught to do not to talk to strangers, they might do something bad to you, etc, etc. But I do not think that way, the world is a unique place, and just with a little hospitality and the great value of listening we can make a change and I am willing to try it, that is one of the main reasons I would like to interact with more people, especially locals that can guide you and teach you about their countries and different cultures.

I love self-developing books, especially audiobooks, which help me while driving or working out.
In music I am very open and international, I have friends from all over the world, and I enjoyed connecting with them through music. So I mostly listen to Old songs, but as well as techno and house, I am strange to all kinds of genres.
