About Me
A mad "scientists" obsessed with everything.
🤓🤠.
I don't drink alcohol so sometimes I can seem boring or very serious. I have a light and strange humor, The Office is my fav sitcom.
I know how hard is to look for host but I can notice right away when it's a message template or you're using AI, you don't have to read my full profile but tell me:
Why should I host you?
---The short guide to surf in Mexico City ---
I have a great overall experience of Mexico and particularly Mexico City; I've seen the CS community here, I know the people who are here just to take advantage of travelers, particularly girls; I know who have other intentions, they should state that, at least be honest.
There are also people living in very dangerous zones and they're hosting people, putting them at risk.
If you have a question/an issue or if you want recommendations, ask me. I will be there to help you out.
Let me share you my best tips:
- Probably you want to see the most common places at Mexico City so try to see if your host is in the following area:
--- You will be so lucky to stay in this area but caution with flirty hosts, it's also the most common zone for expats:
• Polanco
• La Condesa
• Hipódromo
• Roma Norte
• Roma
• Roma Sur (this one is tricky is very close to a dangerous zone)
-- Bit away from center but very good one too, most middle class Mexican people:
• Nápoles
• Extremadura Insurgentes
• San José Insurgentes
• Col Del Valle Centro
• Col Del Valle Norte
• Col Del Valle Sur
•Tlacoquemecatl Del Valle
• Narvarte Poniente
• Vértiz Narvarte
+My place is between here
• Letrán Valle
• Florida
• Guadalupe Inn
• Xoco
-- Nice too but at the south of the city; note that this zone also has to be in the specified neighborhood because there are other zones with the same name but can be dangerous:
• Chimalistac, Alvaro Obregón
• Santa Catarina, Coyoacán
• La Concepción, Coyoacán
• San Lucas, Coyoacán
• Parque San Andrés, Coyoacán
• El Rosedal, Coyoacán
• Col del Carmen, Coyoacán
• Del Carmen, Coyoacán
• Santa Catarina, Coyoacán
• Romero de Terreros, Coyoacán
The above zones are the safest and best to enjoy the city, I put the names as google show them, there can be variations of them but that doesn't mean that are good zones, if you're still doubting reach me out.
- Though been close to the center can be comfortable, there are very dangerous zones close to it, avoid at any cost the following: Tepito, Buenavista, Guerrero, Morelos, Centro, Algarín, Buenos Aires, Tránsito, Merced, Santa Anita, Granjas, Tacubaya.
-- Explicitly avoid Anything in Azcapotzalco, Venustiano Carranza, Gustavo A. Madero, Iztapalapa, Iztacalco.
Caution with:
- Only hosts women or men.
- Offers you his own bed/nudist.
- More than 5% of "negative" references.
- Caution with people with good references but just from locals. Or that they just know them from hangouts.

Hope my guide is helpful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I know the struggle of traveling without a plan and limited budget, I have slept in trains, toilets, cars and fast food restaurants, I'll be happy to help you avoid that experience.
Unfortunately, in all my trips I have been hosted three times in CS (one being a crappy experience), to be honest it is really hard to get a place, so if you need tips for cheap places I'll provide you guidance.
I found CS as a great way to connect with different nationalities, people and experiences.
I'm also here looking out for people, I'm a sheepdog.
Interests
I'm always experimenting and I'm my primary subject, I based everything on scientific data and peer reviewed papers; so, you might find weird a lot stuff that I do.
I love reading non fiction books, watch documentaries, learn new skills, play music and sing(I'm not good at it🙃). I rather stay in home than go out and party (I partied too much when I was a teenage).
