Hey!
My name is Axel, I'm a French 20 yo student. I'm studying wood engineering in the North-East of France and i'm actually doing my first long trip ... With a bike! A 3300km trip through Europe, already made 1045km of it! And seen north of the Switzerland and south of Germany, on the road to Wien, then Bratislava, Brno, Prague, Berlin, Hambourg, Amsterdam and Bruxelles. At first I was traveling to see big cities, now I travel to meet new people! Because a city worth nothing without the person living in it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and also to travel in a better way, learning places from people that live there is better than reading some touristic advice on internet. I guess it's also better for people traveling with a bike because it's allow to get there bike and stuff secured better than in the nature. And of course, a bed, a sofa, a mattress or a floor is always better than the ground!

Interests

I'm a maker by nature, like I'm born to make. I learned violin almost 10 years. I'm a really creative person I guess, in all types of field. I've recently started to travel for studies and I like it so much it have to figure there! What I like in travel is seeing new place with different cultures, different architecture, different food, but what I love is meeting people, making new friends, talking about life and trip. That's the best way of living!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen every music from Sinatra, to muse, passing by sabaton and movies soundtrack, I still have a little preference for classic music and electroswing. In fact I live every music out of really heavy metal and rap without meaning.
I'm not a great fan of reading.
I'm not spending a lot of time in watching film but to help you, here is my top 3 :

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Prep school ! If you don't know what it is I'll explain it to you!

I've also lost myself 1 hour in a 2km in diameter forest during the night, 1,5 km far from an host house. Ended up doing hiking with my 47kg bike 😂
