About Me

I'm a friendly easy going guy. I'm from México City, and when I was 18 years old, I moved to Querétaro to study the BA in Architecture and then, a few years later, the Master in Architecture and New Urbanism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to travel through Asia, and I read about this site on a blog. I'm going to backpack for a couple of months. I would like to have rich, meaningful experiences, to meet other travelers and learn about the culture in every city I stop.

Interests

I like sports, books, movies, travel, photography, architecture, urbanism, design, animals, food, coffee... among other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of movies, a lot of books and a lot of music.
Lately, I've been listening Kizomba because I would like to learn how to dance it. Also, I could say that my favorite genres are Alternative Rock and electronic music.
I love the work of Wes Anderson, Nicolas Winding Refn, Chan-Wook Park, Zack Snyder and many others. I think that their movies are transcendent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that the most amazing thing I've done and I'm proud of it to finish my Master and to work right away as an urban analyst.
The second fabulous (or crazy) thing I've done is to leave México to start traveling in Asia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm also trying to develop myself and to learn everything I can. From arts and crafts to intellectual and practical stuff. Hence I have certain knowledge of photography, carpentry, martial arts, LA salsa (dancing), cooking; and of course I'm always eager to learn more or to pass on my knowledge.

I use to teach a class called Urban Project in my Alma Mater for students in the 9th / 10th semester of Architecture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share everything I know and every skill I possess. I can teach people a little Spanish if they want, I can help with chores or fixing something that is broken. I can take care of kids and dogs (and I'm good at it). I can cook for them simple Mexican things if we have the ingredients. I can share my experiences of life too, but most importantly I can always pass on my good vibe and enthusiasm for life and all the good things that life has taught me so far.

Cambodia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
