Overview
About Me
I'm a social, open minded, quite active guy who enjoy meeting new people. See every meeting as an opportunity to learn something new and hear a different point of view.
When I'm back home I work out almost every day. Running, cross country skiing, swimming and gym. Getting extremely restless if I don't do anything. Don't get the wrong picture of me as an extreme fitness person. I gladly eat a lot of good food and drink a beer or ten from time to time.
During the weekends I love being out in the nature and I'm kind of an outdoor-nerd. Doing trekking, kayaking, skiing, fishing and so on. Going out to an island with kayak, get a fire starting, watch the sunrise and drink a good whiskey that's life at high quality!
After working out, and outdoor activities music is my biggest interest. I rarely move anywhere without listening to music and the first thing I do when I get back home to my apartment after a day at work is to put on music.
Have been playing the drums since I was 9 and to sink down deep down in the couch listening to good music and drink a good whiskey is almost as good as in front of a fire.
Was studying engineering one year on Uni before taking a break and now I've moved up further north in Sweden to study nursing, get closer to the mountains and get better winters.
PHILOSOPHY
There is no situation that gets better by complaining so I don't.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the best things I know is to be out travelling and meet new people. While I'm not travelling CS is a little bit like bringing the travelling back home to your place!

Music, Movies, and Books
Listening a lot to music. Have played drums since I was 9 and it's one of the things I'm missing the most while travelling.
Can spend hours talking about music I like or listen to music I never heard before.
Right now I listen a lot to progressive music of different sorts but is always open for stuff I haven't heard before. Recently I dug out a lot of blues and classic music from my fathers old vinyl records that I'm getting in to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stepping into the shower in Kathmandu after 20 days without a shower and 28 days of trekking in the Everest region in Nepal. It's four of the best weeks I'll probably ever have with the best of company and extremely beautiful scenery.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully a good laugh or two, some interesting talks about life, food and why lying down in the snow in a steep ascent crying is good for you.
