CURRENT MISSION

Just finished my double master in sustainable energy engineering in Barcelona and Stockholm. So now it is eventually time to find job that suits me :D. While doing so I will roam around Portugal, surf heaps and sleep in my FIAT Tipo, called Todd the Tipo.

ABOUT ME

Hi

I'm Axel from Germany.
I've finished my bachelor in mechanical engineering and did a master in sustainable energy solutions at the moment.
Sports are my passion. I surf, do yoga, cycle, run, do snowboarding and like to do some outdoors workout. However, I have bad luck with several injuries atm so I feel like I would be constantly recovering =D.
Also, I like to go out, have fun and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is the best to stay with locals who can share their experiences about the place they are living. Also, a lot of Couchsurfers have been traveling themselves and though have great stories to share, which might give me new ideas about my next destinations. Until now my experiences have only been great!!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music depends on my mood and the current situation. For going out I like electronic music (Berlin style --> kind of dark) but for relaxing or hanging out with friends I prefer listen to classics, like The Doors and slower music. In general I am open to any music.

I don't have a favorite book since there are a lot really good ones.
I don't really watch movies haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Road trip from Germany to Sicily with 5 friends in a super old car just bought for that purpose and sold afterwards again

Semester abroad at RMIT and spent 2,5 month traveling in OZ afterwards

Surfing Road trip through Portugal, Spain and France with my brother and a friend

Traveling Burma, Laos, New Zealand and Australia (WestCoast) and Indonesia (Lombok) again.

Several surftrips down to the terrific Coast of Northern Spain

2 years master program that took me to Spain, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Portugal, Poland and Chile :-)
