Nací y me crié en un pueblo del norte de la Patagonia andina. Pasé mi infancia allá y luego fui intercambista en Brasil por dos meses y en Alemania por un año, ya de adolescente. De vuelta en Argentina me recibí como instructor de esquí y trabajé de eso durante unos años aquí, en Andorra y en Canadá, hasta que decidí empezar los estudios en la universidad, que es lo que hago de momento.

I was born in a really nice town in andean Patagonia, South Argentina. I spent all my childhood there and then travelled to Brazil (2 months) and Germany (1 year) as an exchange student when I was a teenager. When I came back to my country I became a ski instructor and worked at home, in Andorra and Canada for some years, until I started to study at the University, which is what I'm at currently.

Interests

Lectura (sobre todo literatura y filosofía), música, la historia y cultura locales por donde ande, el esquí, la fotografía. Trato de visitar aunque sea un museo de arte y un pub en cada lugar al que viajo.

Reading (mainly literature and philosophy), music, local history and culture wherever I am, skiing, photography. I always try to visit at least one art museum and one pub in all my trips.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Puedo cocinar platos simples. Soy ordenado y bastante tranquilo. Una de las razones por las que estoy acá es que CS me parece una forma más inmediata de conocer los lugares que visito (le tengo aversión al juego de expectativas sobre el que muchas veces se construye la industria turística local), así que me gusta caminar y charlar con mis hosts, de modo que yo los conozca y ellos a mí. También puedo ayudar a reparar alguna cosa doméstica que haga falta y no puedas sin otra persona.

I can cook (no sophisticated dishes, but I can cook). I'm tidy and pretty calm. Some chat and a walk is always welcome, since one of the reasons I'm on couchsurfing is my intention to actually get to know the people that live in the places I visit (and letting them know me), and not only tour around where tourist guides tell me to go (that last approach towards tourism ends up developing into what I call the "disneyland effect", the feeling you are in an artificially set up enviroment built to fullfill the spectations agencies think you had for the location prior to your visit). Needless to say if you need to fix something at home and can't do it alone you can count on me for some help.
