About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am going back to the USA!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is Here and Now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed my first three couches in Paris in June 2007. It was a fantastic thing to know that you are welcomed when arriving in a foreign city. I made new friends and contacts and I also found new travel companions. What more can you ask for? It is fantastic!
Surfed also in Goa, India with Satya at Sundowners and with Adrian in Singapore - now it is time to pay back!

Interests

My interests have always been traveling and writing. Thus, I took some time off my job to live the live of a writing traveller around the world. I already came around a bit - however my hunger for foreign lifestiles and culture will only be satisfied when I have seen it all! However, now seems to be a time to calm down and stay at a place for a while (at least 3 months ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, preferably the movies of French director Luc Besson, the Cohen brothers or David Fincher.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of these things are connected with travelling: The Grand Canyon (Arizona), Monument Valley (Utah), New York City, Rio de Janeiro, the waterfalls of Iguacu, the Registan place in Sarmakand on the Silk Road in Uzbekistan, Tokyo by night, sunrise on Mount Everest, staying in a tree house in the jungle of Laos, standing next to the Dalai Lama in India, going with the Transsibirean Railway from St. Petersburg to Mongolia, climbing the Great Wall of China etc. Seeing, experiencing and feeling new worlds and places is the most intense feeling for me. It elevates you and makes your spirit open for everything.
Another strong feeling is beeing on stage (even if there are only 100 people listening) and sing your own songs. It is a kind of sharing your personal things with the audience - really intense!

Teach, Learn, Share

You can learn from anyone! And even if it is just how to "not do it"!
