My name is Aya and I'm 24 years old. Some people say I'm Morrocan, some other say I'm Spanish and other can say I'm 50% Morrocan and 50% Spanish. I think we, the daughters and sons of migrants, just created a new identity that is more wide that this only and just national labels that are hard to me to identify with. Identity is something else I guess.

I have born and raised in Valencia, I moved to Madrid to study Sociology and International Relations. During this period, I had the opportunity to do an Erasmus in İstanbul (on that period, I travelled a lot around Türkiye). After finishing the double degree I did an Erasmus Plus project in Tunisia, was sooo cool!! After that, I went back to Spain trying to find a job in a very complicated job market, specially for youth.

Şu an, ben Ankara’da yaşiyorum çünkü ben bir Türk dili Öğrenci (sadece biraz Türkçe var). Sonra, orada bir yüksek lisans yapacağım, Örta Doğu araştırmaları. As I said, I’m currently living in Ankara (but in a yurt, I cannot host :( ) and I hope I can travel more around this country again (studies don’t let me free). May I ask you for recommendations and accomodation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled in the Balkans and in Turkey a lot, doing Hitchhiking.
I finished my Double Degree in a really short time, I almost killed myself on the process (haha) but now I'm free and I feel proud.
