About Me

Hi I’m Aya. I love traveling and meeting new people!
I am now working inJapan after coming back from my world journey two years ago. I learned a lot of different cultures through the trip which made my life more profound. I still continue to travel time to time to appreciate the diversity of people and cultures.
Curiosity and appreciation are what describe me the most :-)
Also people say I'm easy-going and respectful:-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found it fantastic !!! I've so far met so many new friends and learned a lot about their cultures and also different life styles, which I all appreciate!
I couldn't have done this if I was just staying at hotels!

Interests

I have genuine interest in people and cultures because I think It's simply amazing that we have such a variety of life styles and beliefs in this world :-) So if you could let me spend time with you even for a little bit, I would be so graceful :-) Also I love eating! Sharing food is my favourite way to spend time with other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I couldn't get much holiday while working in Japan, so I quit my job and gave my self some time to learn a new language in France and also to travel more:-)
Also done trips to; -Yukon, Canada, saw the breath-taking scenery of the arctic circle with autumn colours. -Rail way trip all across Canada.
-home-stay in a rural village in Thailand when I didn't even know how to say Yes/No in Thai. -Uzbekistan, the islamic architectures were just so amazing that I had to go back again this year. -Kyrgyzstan, the beautiful stars at the lake Son Kul. Bishkek was certainly a cross-road for many travellers, met amazing people there. -Tajikistan, the great Pamir and Wahan valley!! Magnificent!! -Malaysia, visited small towns in the central and east-side, nice people with great hospitality:-) and many more...:-)!
