One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living among Bedouins for a week was the best thing I did in my entire life. I experienced the marvelous culture of these timeless residents of Sinai. I lived on rain water, slept in the mountains under the stars with no light but the full moon's, got addicted to their tea, had to be dressed up as a Bedouin and smuggled to attend a wedding, drank camel milk straight from mamma camel, took a midnight swim in the sea , ate bread baked under the sand, watched them make use of every single thing in the desert, drove one of their Toyota trucks, ate with my bare hands from a shared plate, met a tribe's Sheikh who played the Rababa and talked about old times, went hiking, climbing and snorkeling, had a lamb sleep in my lap, rode a camel and watched a Moon rise for the first time in my life. I connected to nature like never before and fell in love with every detail of their beauty filled life!
