About Me
Hello, everyone! I'm Ayaka. I'm 22 years old and a senior year student in college now. My major is English education for secondary school.
I live in Uji city in Kyoto, Japan. Uji is a very beautiful place with historical places like temples or shrines and a famous river. Also, you can enjoy Japanese green tea here. It takes about half an hour to go to central Kyoto and Nara from here by train. Transportation is quite convenient.
My university is in Nara, so I commute to Nara everyday by train. I can guide you around Nara city such as Todai-ji temple, Kasuga-Taisha shrine and other places. There are lots of nice places to eat! I can introduce some to you as well!
If you want to enjoy Japanese nature, there are beautiful forest and small mountain. We can go hiking too!
As I mentioned above, I'm a senior year student in my college but I have one more year to graduate because I studied abroad last year.
Studying abroad in the U.S was great experience for me. I could enjoy playing music, having conversation with nice people, and traveling to Florida and NYC. I really miss my life in the U.S.
My boyfriend currently live in Florida. I'd like to visit there again!
I like to meet people and talk! At first, I may keep silence though! Lol (because I'm a little bit shy)
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Music, Movies, and Books
I can play the saxophone, a little bit of piano and guitar. I used to join the concert band by playing alto saxophone when I was in a junior high and high school.
When I studied abroad in the U.S, I joined jazz band too! It was the first time for me to play jazz. So, I like to listen to jazz songs such as Autumn leaves and Blue Bossa.
My favorite musicians:
Michael Jackson, Steely Dan, America, Hall & Oates, Queens, The Beatles........ I like old songs!
My favorite movies:
LEON, Forrest Gump, Tammy...etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've received the prize as the most enthusiastic musician when I was in the musical band in the U.S! I had trouble following others because of English, it made me have more confidence!
