Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Had an awesome opportunity to surf across the southwest US when I did a 5 week roadtrip. Haven't had the chance to host yet but would like the opportunity to.

I love meeting the local people around the places I meet. I find that they can offer better insight to the places I visit and the culture of the city than the other Americans I meet in hostels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed on couches on a solo roadtrip across the US. Had the opportunity to host a few people traveling in the are as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked around western europe; worked in Kenya in the summer of '08; worked in Yosemite NP summer of '04

-Hiked to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite NP
-Hiked Angel's Landing in Zion NP in the winter with 3 feet of snow
-Did a 5 week roadtrip across the southwest US.
