About Me
My first Couchsurfing experience was in the summer of 2015 in Dover, Delaware, attending the Firefly music festival. My friend Linda and I were extremely lucky that our hosts graciously accepted us so last minute without any references. Since then, I've been on CS :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get away from the dreaded "touristy" attractions, or at least get a healthy mix of locals + attractions.
Interests
Reading, obsessively checking on the news, drafting 'witty' Tweets in my head, thinking about how we know we're not just brains floating in a vat of nutrient-liquid or stuck in the matrix...
- festivals
- news
- reading
- music
- international relations
- study abroad
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experienced weather below 30 degrees Fahrenheit (I swear this is an accomplishment where I'm from)
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're wondering about Iran these days, I've been there and I can tell you it's not what you think! :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Insight on the day's events, a good political discussion, (semi-) funny jokes, random linguistic facts from taking Latin for 4 years, semi-intellectual discussion of philosophical problems
Countries I’ve Visited
