Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm mostly on Couchsurfing because I like taking the unbeaten path. Why buy a hotel when I could invest in getting to know new people around the world who can help me around the destination I'm going to and vice versa. I think this is a brilliant site, making connections world-wide.
