I graduated from English Literature and Language at Ankara University. I'm a youth worker. Currently, I have visited 13 countries so far. I have been in Lithuania for more than 1 year already and now I am here until February because of my master's studies which is Social Work with Children and Youth. I will be in Europe for the next 2 years (if not failing with the master's)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest, I got to know CS when I was in Azerbaijan to seek couches to stay in Baku back in 2018. The last time I used it 2019 summer in Romania. Now back in travelling, I want to meet new people and see new places. Meanwhile, it would be really great to enhance my point of view with such stories and experiences that I would not be able to read from any books. I believe that CS would cross our paths to share and be part of my life story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Azerbaijan as a first abroad experience. Then I was in Portugal for one week! I have travelled to Bulgaria and Romania! Before 2020, I went to Belgium. Then during the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to stop my series of traveling, unfortunately. Afterwards, Greece was my stop to see Thessaloniki and Mount Olympus. Last year I went to Sicily, Italy where the Etna volcano is located, and later on, I was supposed to go to Barcelona, Spain. When I arrived in Lithuania I had a chance to visit Budapest/Hungary and Milano/Italy a bit, Tallinn/Estonia, Riga/Latvia, Brussels/Belgium and Warsaw-Krakow/Poland.

I can teach English and Turkish. I can share the recipes I can cook from Turkish cuisine at the beginning and also the cultural aspects of my country in the meantime.
