About Me

Up to a couple of months ago I was living in an intentional community in the Black Forest (yes, in the forest:). The past two years I have been working in communities as community builder and Sociocracy trainer and I love it. I am fascinated by group dynamics and am a real sociocracy nerd - meaning I could talk about it for hours !
Besides from live in community I love playing music, if on the streets, in jam-sessions on the campfire or wherever - If I am not playing music I like to dance to it :) not meaning I play super well or like a pro btw :) I am also organizing house-concerts and a small festival in the middle of the forest with friends.
As much as I absolutely love being around people, I also love spending time with myself and can really respect the need for space of other people.
Besides from that I can’t get enough of being on the road, exploring new places and meeting people from all over the world. Traveling feels like freedom to me and I admit that I find it very addicting :) there is just something special and wonderful about being in completely new places, unexpected situations, surrounded by people you have never met before. I like the change of perspective on live that comes with it - feels like a nice fresh breeze :)

obsession: besides from traveling -
definitely baking, its really addicting to me...

Work: I started training as a Gestalttherapist and just started working part time as a doctor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its such a nice way to get to know people from other cities/countries/cultures and learning about different views on the world. Loove it :)
I love the encounters I have had via Corchsurfing, its just a different way of traveling! I love the openness around the concept of inviting new friends into my home. I love to make people feel welcome - maybe it come from never having lived anywhere where we didn't have people visiting all the time so really it just feels very natural :)

Interests

Everything in nature and everything that involves life music!
Biking, backcountry skiing, singing at the campfire, playing the guitar, having inspiring conversations, ecstatic dances, learning new things !

I like to go dumpster diving, because I thing it makes so much sense not to let our food rot in dumpsters :)

I am always open to trying or learning about new things, if boxing, streets art, different dance styles, worldviews...

I love love radical honesty!
