Overview
About Me
Hay, I'm teacher currently travelling around the world and trying to write a book. I love meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and trying new things. I'm friendly, open minded and can relate to anyone. I have done a degree in art, animation film and television and a bachelor's in early childhood education. I am also a vegetarian but all my friends and family are meat eaters so I'm not against it, just personal preference!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to couch surf to make my travelling a lot less lonely! I'm all by myself and enjoy meeting new people, and experiencing the beauty's of travelling with others. I also feel that couch surfing is a great way to really get to know a city's culture, food and get great tips about the areas your travelling. I also don't mind where I sleep as so far I've travelled and slept on floors, mud, under the stars and worse! But all part of the travelling exsperience.
Interests
I love travelling of course, but it's really what I live for and I love reading and writing books. I'm also a movie finatic and a bit of a nerd haha. I love jamming on the Xbox, hanging out, and trying new things. I also love animals and the outdoors especially going hiking or nature walks. I'm really over all an easy going person who's generally happy to do whatever everyone else is doing. Whether it be a movie night, or a pub crawl!

Music, Movies, and Books
I know everyone says this but I really love everything, I love all music, from heavy metal to country, to gangster Rap, hip hop, techno, old school rock to poppy sing along. I love ALL genres of movies and I'm a total nerd in this, same with books although I do prefer epic fantasy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled through Africa and lived in the Kenyan Kibera slums in a shack on the ground and survived a civil war, rebuilt hundreds of houses, feed seven thousand homeless people in one day and taught over 200 street kids. It's truly a heart warming amazing story that's needs to be told in person and I promise I'll tell ya the extended version if you want, when I stay with you ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach, learn and share! Thus is my philosophy in life and why I became a teacher. Your never too old to start again, your never to old to learn something new and if I have learnt anything from my travels it's that the memories, lessons and exsperiences we share are what stay with us forever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my hileriously embarrassing, funny and outrageous stories from my travels. I can teach you how to cook different dishes that I have learnt along the way, share my own culture and show you a bit of the kiwi way and anything else you want!
