Overview
About Me
I am a mother of three children born 2013, 2014, and 2016. Most of my time is spent homeschooling and doing activities with my kids and other children that I watch during the week. I teach casual painting classes at a paint and sip bar downtown most nights and weekends. When I’m not otherwise occupied, which is rarely these days, I am working on my own art, reading, or exploring new restaurants and bars in Portland.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Half the joy of traveling is meeting new people. I would much rather learn a place through a resident’s perspective than solely as a tourist. I’m also a very casual traveler. I try to make my trips and my baggage as minimal and spontaneous as possible. Staying with locals rather than hotels fits this spirit.
I also like the idea of meeting travelers to my own city by opening my home to guests.
