Overview
About Me
I am studying English and German in a small yet lovely town just outside Berlin so I currently enjoy a typical student's life with all its ups and downs. I wouldn't wanna miss a thing though.
I lived in England for a year and totally LOVED it. Living abroad taught me how little I have seen of the world yet and how much more there is to explore.
My main aim in life is to go grocery shopping at eye level rather than buying the cheapest things from the bottom
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travelling shouldn't be dependent on one's budget and I like to learn about other people's views on life and the world and the opportunity you have these days.
Interests
I enjoy good books and movies, conversations both about fun and serious topics, photography, food, travelling, long walks preferably at the beach and basically all pleasures life brings.
I also try to bring home a beer or shot glass from every new place I go to!
Attempting to learn how to say "cheers" in as many languages as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste varies quite a lot. I generally like things I can sing along to even if it's trashy pop music but there's hardly anything that I completely dislike really
Not that much into movies to be honest, but I am trying to wean myself off watching far too many series
Forever loving Harry Potter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quitting the degree I originally did after realising I hated it and constantly felt like I was dying inside. Economics just wasn't for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a huge interest in languages. At uni I especially enjoy linguistics although that's broadly considered to be pretty boring but I just love learning all about how languages work. My friends always say I am an incredible know-it-all because I tend to correct them far too often (working on that habit)
Anyway, I can teach you some German and all about the German quirks from being overly punctual to wearing socks in sandals.
I'd love to learn about your language and culture as well!
