Tentatively making a couchsurfing profile for the first time. Haven't done it before now as I'm generally a traveler/person who prefers wherever I call "home" for the night on a trip to be a place to recharge my batteries. I'm interested in people, especially those who are cultured and interesting and have stories to swap with me. I do like my independence and privacy too though, so in a host I am looking for a balance. I try my very best to be a respectful and considerate guest wherever I go, so I am looking for a host who would treat me the same.
