About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live in many different places, and enjoy a life of traveling and meeting new people.

ABOUT ME

I love people, traveling, learning about new cultures, laughing, eating, love animals, etc. I think that laugher and silliness is necessary in life. If you take life to seriously and look at all the horrible things in the world, it can be very depressing. I need to laugh a lot and therefore have a reputation as being a pretty big jokster :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that it is important to treat people the way I would want to be treated. I believe everyone is on a spiritual journey and is trying to find peace and happiness. I have found it in Jesus ,through a lot of searching, reading, praying, etc. I believe that no one is perfect but that God offers everyone a second chances because His love is perfect. Life is short, and although I have some regrets, I belive God has and will use my mistakes for good. I want to love people the way He has loved them and take every moment to get to know others at a personal level. Because in the end, things don't last, only people's souls.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host people as soon as I get a new place. I am currently moving to a new city and am between jobs. But as soon as I get the chance, I'd love for anyone to be able to stay on my couch (or maybe an air mattress) :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great experience a few years ago couch surfing in Paris, France. Some peeps were nice enough to take us in and let us get a taste of real parisian life. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life! Its amazing how much you can communicate without speaking the same language! Still keep in touch with some of the people we met there.

Interests

seeing the world, getting to know people for who they really are.. on a deep level, not all this surfacy crap.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Bible, Novels by Francine Rivers, C.S. Lewis, (i need to start reading more). I love all different types of music, especially foreign music: spanish, eastern european, arabic. I like R&B, pop, some country, some jazz, indie, etc. I think the movie, "Crash" has an awesome message. Other than that I watch a lot of cheesy chic flicks. But that's cause sometimes its hard to watch depressing or really intense movies. Life is already intense enough. I can watch the news if i wanna get depressed, lol.
