Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've done a good amount of traveling in my short time on this planet and I've used many of the available options of lodging: hotels, hostels, Air bnb, friends, overnight flights/buses/trains, airport floors. However, I'm yet to try couchsurfing (as of 1/28/16). I love to get some sort of glimpse, however small and inconsequential, of what it means to live like a local. Couchsurfing seems to be the ticket to these types of experiences. Also, people are cool and they're EVERYWHERE. Whether or not you'd be available to show me around or just give me a couple of leads as to where i can find these unique perspectives, I'd be SO happy just to be given the priviledge of calling your couch my bed. This type of cheap lodging option is what makes extensive travel a realistic opportunity for me. THANKS SO MUCH!
