About Me

Recent grad, entrepreneur, and food scientist trying to figure life out. Grew up in India and have been moving around since I was 16. I’ve lived in 5 countries so far and I’m grateful for having developed such a multi-cultural outlook towards the world. I'm working towards building a life where I can travel while I do meaningful work and have a community of people around the world where we can learn and grow together. I'm a big advocate for the sustainable development goals, and all that I do ties back to, in some way, to malnutrition or food sustainability. I'm often traveling for a conference, workshop, or a networking event, but I love mixing some time for my personal life with it. I'm sure you're noticing the trend of food in my life, and my IG will not disappoint.

I love meeting new people, traveling, and hiking! I love staying out exploring or just being in nature as much as my energy allows me to. I have a reputation for making terrible jokes, making friends easily, and being high energy. I’m the kind that skimps on sleep too much when I’m traveling.

I enjoy ambiguity, exploring life, and pushing myself to be better. I end up traveling once a month or so and would love to be able to meet locals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m sorry that this is so unoriginal: but I just genuinely enjoy meeting new people. I do meet a lot when I travel, but most are all in passing. I’d love to be able to know someone better over a couple of days and have deeper conversations

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of non- fiction (around Econ, entrepreneurship, and soft skills); will read Murakami on occasion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo hiked Yosemite for three days; more liberating for me than amazing
Also became a pastry chef when I was 16!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Ask me about starting a business, living in different countries, :)
Learn: I want to know more about your life experiences, and quite honestly, whatever you're passionate about. I'm always amazed and grateful when I learn something that I have little knowledge of because it helps me view the world in a different light. TL;DR: stuff that isn't food!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you some GOOD Indian food (also dessert if that's your "jam" haha)! I also have a knack for discovering places with good dessert

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, England, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland
