ABOUT ME

I'm a journalist, paramedic assistent, student of languages/countries/cultures/people, christian (not religious, but a believer), traveler... and so much more! Currently, I'm travelling with my boyfriend through Israel and Egypt and, of course, we'd love to meet new people and discover these countries off the beaten tourist trail. See the pyramids and the Western Wall? Cool! Hanging out in Beer Sheva and Suez (or whereever tourists don't normally go) with some locals? Even cooler :)

PHILOSOPHY

Why I live? Because I got this great gift of life and I like it! Feelings? Good ones, bad ones, sometimes this, sometimes that, that's life. Thoughts? Like to share them in real life, not online...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Australia, Israel and Egypt, met many cool people and had a great time! People stayed with me in Bethlehem and I enjoyed showing them around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy funny movies, once in a while a drama, action movies are ok, too. Nothing specific at the moment. I don't really listen to music at home, unless we have a party. Then it's mostly punk rock, hiphop, reggae, r'n'b, electronic, drum'n'base, pop... and books? Man, I just realize how diverse my taste is! I like any book that binds me, cause it's so good. Historic novels mainly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

er... one thing? Traveling is always amazing for me, so I could now list all the cool and beautiful places I've been to. Other than that - I bungee jumped once, that was cool. Oh! One thing really amazing I've done, is diving (it's amazing for me anyway). I love watching these funny colorful fish, big turtles, and wreck diving is the best!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a paramedic assistent and first aid teacher. So if you want to learn CPR - host me! :) I speak German, English and Spanish, so I could help you with these languages. And I've traveled a few countries, so if you're planning to go to Australia, Peru, Europe, US... I could give you some traveling advice. My boyfriend, who I'm traveling with at the moment, is a great cook and happy to share recipies and prepare a few German (or not so German) dishes.I'm currently learning Arabic (Palestinian dialect), so I appreciate any help there. Apart from that, I'm interested in learning in general, so if you have something cool to teach (even better if it's possible in a few minutes or days), I'd love to learn it.
