ABOUT ME

I am a registered massage therapist and love my job. I am a horse girl, and love growing things, working with my hands, being outside, in the bush, under the sky. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, I spin and knit my own wool and drive working draft horses. I have no tattoos and am not on facebook and have an old phone. I am equal parts European and Canadian, a multi-local. My flask of rye whiskey is my good friend and I'm little and strong and interested in the insanity that is being human and like talking about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was lucky in that my first time being a surfer was absolutely top notch. I became part of a fun family for 6 weeks in colorado and I look forward being able to host and surf again.

I like the idea of slow travel, of getting under the skin of a place, of getting personal, of human connection. Of surrogate families and sharing and trading.

I love getting snippets of people's lives when they're on my table, in a way I didn't stray too far from archaeology after all.
