About Me
Hello everybody!
I am Ayşegül and from the city of Trabzon. That is the place where I spent a good portion of my life . After finishing university I thought it would be a good idea to change my living place and moved to Mardin, one of the three cities with the best preserved historical architecture along with Venice and Jerusselam in the world. I work here as an English teacher here but, I go back to Trabzon in summers for holiday.
Travelling is among my biggest passions and if you ask what my biggest dream is, it is to travel all around the world. My wish to explore the world has increased after having Erasmus in the lovely city of Olomouc, Czech Republic. I never forget the memories I had, the places I saw and the people I met during my stay there for 9 months.
Anyway, I don't know what else to say here and if you are interested just ask more :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to better explore the cities I will visit with the help of local people and show the Turkish hospitality to the travellers of my country. We have a 'Couchsurfing Speaking Club' that has been going on in Trabzon almost every weekend where you can get the chance of meeting lots of nice people and having fun together. We have hosted many tourists at the events and had an amazing time with them so , don't miss the chance of meeting us :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I think the movie called ' 3 idiots' is not only the best movie of Bollywood but the best movie of all times. It criticizes the traditional education system and tell the story around the friendship of 3 people.
'My Name is Khan' is my second favourite movie. It emphasizes the importance of love despite ethnic end religious differences.
There are only two kinds of people in the world : good people and bad people. This is the only difference.
My favourite quote from " My Name is Khan " which has become my motto in this life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Becoming an Erasmus student and moving to Czech Republic
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some basic stuff from Turkish and learn from your native language. If I am free I can accompany you to show the city. We can cook together although I am not very good at it :D I can help you to learn the board games famous in Turkish teahouses and local dance of Trabzon called horon :)
In short, I can help you with anything I can do to make you feel more comfortable if I have means.
