About Me

I am a 24 years old pastry chef, born and raised in Istanbul. My interests are linguistics, any form of art and sociology. I love meeting new people while travelling. I am often amazed by learning about how people around the world live their life as locals, what do they experience in a regular day, what do they eat/see/listen and how these daily routines builds up our characters. Also, meeting new people with new habits teach us being bias-free, understanding the differences don't matter. I usually prefer taking few months to experience a city I am travelling rather than going to different cities and spending only few days each.

I am quite friendly, open minded and social person. I like to be respected with my personal space but I would never say no to a nice conversation with people around me.

If you have a full profile, references and the same interests as I am, send me a message, I will host you and help you to discover the city as fullest.

.. if you want to bring something from your country, anything authentic that I can use for cooking (spices, herbs, drinks etc) is appreciated :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great platform that has been working out for years and I believe the reason for this is because the main concept is sharing. It is just bunch of people who wants to spend good time, share their experiences an have a real conversation. I met some great people from here and had great experiences during my travels. I enjoy being the host and the guest at the same level.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen all types of music except for heavy metal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about the languages, cooking and baking or playing ukulele.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a good conversation and "Turkish hospitality" -yes, it is a thing, you can google it! -
I am also a freelance tour guide, so if I have time I can show you around as a professional tour guide as well.

.. and of course, food. I can cook something Turkish for you.
